Hi! We are Tovy and Melanie Carvalho. We married young (25 & 23) about 18 months after we met. Mel was a Peace Corps Volunteer and Tovy was a local in Praia, Cape Verde. Life was not always easy (and sometimes it was downright miserable) as we learned to bridge the gap between our two experiences, but a few things kept us going and got us to where we are today...

(1) We both have a strong sense of commitment - we said we'd be married forever, and goshdarnit we intend to stick to that.

(2) We are both major dreamers - we often say to each other, "Why not! Dreaming is Free!" We've never felt like any situation was permanent, and we are always looking a few steps ahead - designing the life of our dreams.

(3) Our most deeply held beliefs and spirituality is in tune with each other - so it's like we speak the same language - even when there is a language barrier. We both have 100% faith in an unlimited and benevolent divinity, and feel that the purpose of life is to embody as much of that as possible!

(4) Oh yeah, and LOVE... We love each other deeply, and each day we love each other more than the day before. We encourage each other to practice self-love, and we aim to radiate love out to all who are ready to receive it.

In our 21st year of marriage, we made another in a long series of bold moves - we both quit our jobs and began our own online business together. Truthfully, Tovy jumped first and it took a few months for Mel to get on board. We now work and play side-by-side each day, following our hearts where they lead us - and endeavoring to help as many people as possible to liberate themselves from the traps that society has ensnared them in!
